# AI for auto repair shops: the AutoSoft Online agent

*Built-in AI agent*

Ask your shop the way you'd ask your best employee: who buys the most, what you sell the most, what you invoiced or what to check for a problem.

## What it does

- Analyzes your numbers: top customers, best-selling parts and labor, sales summary and hours per technician.
- Reads your data in read-only mode, with each user's permissions.
- Takes you to the screen you're looking for.
- Explains how to use the app.
- Helps you like an expert mechanic, with web search.

## What it doesn't do

- It only reads; it doesn't change anything.
- Searches never include your customers' data.

It's an optional add-on; see [See pricing](https://autosoftshop.com/online/pricing).

## The flow, in 4 steps

1. **Open it** from any screen.
2. **Ask about your business:** "who were my top 5 customers this year?". If you don't give a period, it uses the current year.
3. **Ask it to take you there:** "open today's appointments".
4. **Look into a problem:** it guides you with what it knows and what it finds on the web, without sharing your customers' data.
